2010 All-Kanawha Valley BASEBALL: ; Nitro's J.R. Bradley helped lead team to State Tournament

J.R. Bradley knows that his 90-mph fastball, considerablecurveball and improving slider are going to make him some moneysomeday ... perhaps very soon.

Bradley also knows that it's his ability to play his role withina cast of talented players that has Nitro High School in late-hourcontention for a Class AAA baseball state championship.

A step further, he is aware that the groundwork laid by previousbaseball stars at Nitro have helped gain him attention andaccolades, such as the 2010 Kanawha Valley Player of the Year award,which he claimed in addition to being named to the Charleston DailyMail's All-Kanawha Valley team.
