ALBANY -- Mabel Griner Ognan of Menands, died Wednesday, April 29, 1998, at Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Born in No. Albany, Mabel was raised in Watervliet and has lived in Menands for the past 40 years. She was a graduate of St. Bridgets, Watervliet High School and the Mildred Elly Business School. Mildred worked for the Internal Revenue Services as a clerk for over 32 years until her retirement.
