Aug. 7--A Singapore-Thailand Enhanced Economics Relations (Steer) programme has been established to encourage the growth of five key industries.
The plan targets food processing and agribusiness, electronics parts for the auto industry, tourism, financial services and logistics. Steer would initially explore business opportunities for the private sector and boost trade between the two countries, said Singapore's ambassador Chan Heng Wing during his visit to Thailand to chair the meeting that set up the programme.
