company, announced it has entered into an agreement with Net Perceptions

In this agreement, Web Connection, the Build portion of chinadotcom's
business model of "Build, Distribute, Sell", will distribute and support Net
Perceptions' Realtime Personalisation Technology (RPT). RPT is a revolutionary
service, which predicts an individual's preferences through observing realtime
behaviour like click-throughs, and makes specific recommendations accordingly
to ensure a one-on-one service. Net Perceptions has also signed two Korean
companies, DACOM System Technologies and MPC Limited as partners.
RPT will benefit business-to-business customers by allowing them to monitor
customer behaviour as they click through icons on the website. For instance, an
online music provider can observe the categories of music that the user clicks
on and then use that information to proactively send tailored retail
information to the user.
